Basically there are two types of couplers: coupler A and coupler B. Multiple unit operation is completely possible but a bit hard to understand because of the way couplers work in BeamNG. REMINDER The dynamic brake isn't effective under 20 km/h. You can stop the train with air brakes or shift into M1 and keep driving. Apply throttle (more throttle = more braking). Or you can use dynamic brakes if your locomotive has them. You can slow down the train with air brakes (arrow down, affects the whole train) or with the independent brake (P / space bar, affects only the locomotive). Reduce throttle if it is accelerating too fast. Move the reverser to the direction where you want to go (use the range box icon thing to change direction, L = forward, H = reverse) and shift into M1. Release air brakes (arrow down) and independent brakes (P / space bar). Press V and throttle to start the diesel engine (if it isn't already running). Make sure that gear N is selected, not M1 or M2. Independent brake (only the locomotive will brake): P / spacebar.
